The decoration at this lovely cottage was simply delightful. It had so much character and charm, making me feel right at home. The general areas were cozy and well-maintained, perfect for relaxing and enjoying a cup of tea. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. It was easy to navigate, with no stairs or long distances to walk, ensuring a comfortable stay for people of all ages.
I would have loved to have a handrail in the bathroom for extra support. The children working there were kind and helpful, but a little assistance in the bathroom would have made my vacation even better.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and exceptionally cosy, with tons of character. It had everything we needed and more, including a lovely log burning stove. The bed was super comfy and there was plenty of space for our clothes. The surrounding area was idyllic, with beautiful scenery and lots of options for activities like walks, cycling, fishing, and even golf nearby. The local pub, just a short walk away, had a great menu and we enjoyed a lovely stroll along the river to get there. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, especially since it's not too far from a bigger city. Plus, bonus points for the fast and reliable Wi-Fi, off-site car park, and the fact that no pets are allowed. And of course, no smoking on site, which was a huge plus for us. an absolutely amazing experience and we can't wait to return!

The cottage was absolutely charming, with so much character and a cosy atmosphere. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I also loved that the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed for our week-long stay. Plus, the hosts were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. the location was perfect for our needs, with a local pub and riverside fishing just a short 5-minute walk away.
The walkway to the bathroom, as it was a small corridor where you could accidentally bump your head on the wall. after a few times of doing so, we eventually learned to be more careful.

My stay at Eightlands was absolutely wonderful. The property was simply gorgeous, with all the information I needed readily available. I loved all the little touches that made it feel so welcoming. The location and character of the property were excellent, and the beds and sofa were really comfortable. The kitchen facilities were good, and I enjoyed using the TV, streaming, and music services. I had a fantastic time at Eightlands and would highly recommend it to anyone.
I must mention that as a tall person , I did find the lack of headroom in some areas a bit challenging. It was fine for my short stay, but I can see how taller people might struggle if they were staying for a longer period of time.

Personally, I would have preferred another bathroom with a bath or shower. But hey, that's just me.
